Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri and Ken Zuckerman gave a fantastic performance in Theater a/h Spui in Den Haag on Saturday 18th November 2017. The evening started with a North-Indian adaptation of Raag Kirwani set in teentaal. Ken Zuckerman played a concluding piece in Raag Jogiya Kalingda. For the 2nd part of the concert Pt. Chaiti is a semi-classical music form originated from India. This is a composition of Pt. Balaram Pathak, played by his son Pt. Ashok Pathak. The Dhun is followed by a concert invite for 14th October 2016.
This special concert was held for the legendary sitar maestro, Pandit Balaram Pathak, on the occasion of his 90th birth Anniversary. His son, Pt. Ashok Pathak played some special compositions in raag Jog set in Vilambit Rupak taal, Madhya & drut Teentaal accompanied on tabla by Pt. Anindo Chatterjee. For the second half, Pt. Anindo
