We organized a special double-bill concert named Dhrupad Night on the 28th April 2017. Dhrupad is the oldest form of Indian classical music and we had the fortune of hosting a bunch of talented artists from around the world!
At the first half we introduced Bert Cornelis, a Belgian Sitar & Surbahar player. He performed Raag Kaushik Dhwani set in Chautaal and Tivra. He was accompanied by Udhav Shinde on Pakhawaj and Brigitte Peterfalvi on Tanpura.
Ustad Sayeeduddin Dagar started his recital with Raag Jaijaiwanti. After that he sang Raag Gunkali, Desh and Adana. Pt. Udhav Shinde again provided the pakhawaj accompaniment. Dagarji was supported by his disciples: Jerome Cormier, Florent Matieu & Brigitte Peterfalvi.
